Did they ever figure out what caused it or has she ever been tested for the Celiac panel? Has she had any other issues with iron deficiency?KChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485021787718254553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5531423852894623808.post-37681586054920091752012-06-23T05:20:10.778-05:002012-06-23T05:20:10.778-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.KChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485021787718254553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5531423852894623808.post-39244052280063717572011-12-27T10:39:36.047-06:002011-12-27T10:39:36.047-06:00I'm glad she is doing better!

I know you ...I am so glad your daughter is better. I know you were scared! I can be calm in almost any situation except when one of my children is involved!

I pray you find out what is wrong and that it is something easy to fix. I had a similar situation several years ago and ended up with fibroid cysts (same as Camille above). So be sure to have the doctors check for that. I think it is a common cause for women to have excess bleeding and low iron levels in the blood.

Hope you can rest and relax for the remainder of your break ((((hugs))))!

Ms. McBee’s KinderbugsBuggy for First Gradehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03988273062481235371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5531423852894623808.post-11712459725804114722011-12-26T06:23:27.466-06:002011-12-26T06:23:27.466-06:00Oh My heavens-to-betsy!!! {{{{{HHHHUUUUUUGGGGG}}}}...Oh My heavens-to-betsy!!! {{{{{HHHHUUUUUUGGGGG}}}}} I have a daughter (who is only 2), but I can't IMAGINE what a mother goes through when that happens. I am SOOO glad she is ok!! And not that you were MEANT to be in those rooms (with squirrels), but "someone" knew you were coming, and was well prepared for you :) I am relieved to hear of a happy ending and that she was able to return home so you could still have Christmas as a family at home. Now, go take a nice long hot bath so you can come back to your normal blood pressure and stress level! :)

♥ Jen Ross
The Teachers' CauldronJen Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17632307261949996727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5531423852894623808.post-77196833064172492602011-12-26T03:59:31.405-06:002011-12-26T03:59:31.405-06:00Hi sweetie! Know that we are all thinking of you AND your daughter.

I don't know if this helps, but years ago, something similar happened to me. I was 35 though. It was that time of month and suddenly blood started pouring out of me. Similar scenario - rushed to hospital, super low crit, pale, weak, transfusions, anemia, ... In my case, my uterus was lined with fibroid cysts - not dangerous on their own, but caused lots of bleeding. I was on birth control at the time and was taken off, plus given meds.

But there was a happy ending ... I ended up fine! Hurrah for wise doctors!!!

Camille
An Open DoorCamillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15944280556679586400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5531423852894623808.post-64145232550055218232011-12-26T00:48:36.017-06:002011-12-26T00:48:36.017-06:00I'm happy to hear that your daughter came home...I'm happy to hear that your daughter came home and is okay for now!!
