ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME?? Friday

Howdy Folks!

Wanna see pics of all the cool stuff I've done
in the last few days?

OK
Close your eyes...
Think of the coolest
craftiest
craziest
thing you can think of-

Got it?

Are you sure?

Great!

I am sure whatever you just pictured was FREAKIN' AWESOME!

Me? Not so much.

I DID get in there and cut and package up those centers that I said I would get done-
so Kudos to me!

I felt kind of bad for sending out the negative vibes on Wednesday
when usually you can find humor here....

so I decided to make it up to you
and post something similar today.

I am calling it:

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME?? Friday

(I wish there were more "Fs" in there.
I thought about the alternative to WTH-
but then I rethought that...)

I figured since I have nothing teachery to contribute (today): I might as well give ya a smile

Ready?

So, we went to dinner with a few  (new) friends last week.
It was a family affair. Everyone brought their Littles with them-
we ate, we talked, we laughed..
That is what WE did.
What the other family did was
TOTALLY IGNORE THE HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR OF
THEIR CHILDREN!!
Yeah, that's what THEY did.

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME???

I am sorry- but my children are not so old that I don't
remember what it was like to have a toddler/PreK
child in a restaurant-
so I am not this old biddy who complains about kids-

These children were wild-
WILD, I tell ya!

Towards the end of the dinner, I watched
one of them
lick his straw- from his drink-
poke it through the holes in the top of
the  cheese shaker,
lick it off of his straw
(wait for it.....)
AND HE PUT IT BACK IN!!!!!

And his all too attentive mama
said, "Cut that out."

AGHHHHHH! How many tables in this town have I sat down to
where they have been before-
I gasp and gurgle and gag
at the thought-

I vow to never sprinkle
ANYTHING from ANY shaker
ANYWHERE!!!!

I tell my children the only thing worse than a sore loser
is an bad winner.

Play fair.

Play nice.

So today, I play the word
"Chez" on Words with Friends against The MR-

guess how many points-

guess-

102!!!!
SMELL IT!!!!

He was in the back when I hit send-
so being the
HORRIBLE WINNER
great sport  that I am-

I RAN to the back to rub it in his face to see if he recd it.

On the way back there- I slid in my socks
and ran into the wall
and my last three toes on my right foot
SLAMMED into the baseboard.

ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME???

The ONE time I get a great word like that
against him
The ONE time I am all like
HA HA SUCKA IN YO FACE...
and I think I broke my toe(s)!

Okay- I am ALWAYS like that when we play a game-
but there was no need for my toe to be injured in this
nasty display of poor sportsmanship..

I put ice on them-
picture in your mind how big Tom's
toes get when Jerry hits them with a sledgehammer...
this is the throbbing pain I feel.

He's like a Li'l McDreamy now!!!

I wonder what his Dad looks like?

I am going to get my neighbor
who is a nurse
and who is also my sister
to come over and look at my toes...
OMGood Gravy!!! They hurt!

If the pain subsides, I am going to play around
on here and check emails-
I am waiting for a
*special someone*
to come off of her vacation
and send me another draft of my
NEW AND IMPROVED
redesigned blog

It's is going to be so FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!
The best way to describe it would
definitely be
GLITZY TRANSITIONAL---
I can't wait!

  2. I hope your toes get better. My brother-in-law broke his toe this week by running into his closet door. If you wanted to see a pick you could go to this link: http://mynotsoelementarylife.blogspot.com/2012/07/i-dont-like-hospitals.html It was AWFUL. I am warning you...if you have a weak stomach you might not want to look. If your toe looks like it though you might want to get her checked out.

  6. Hi Staci:

Thanks for the pictures of Josh! It gave me a lot of "cred" with the visiting teenagers.

It is beyond my comprehension... since I have read about 100 of your posts... but I was (embarrassingly) not a follower--even though I was following you everywhere! That's fixed now!

    Sorry about your tootsies...

  16. I'm so glad you posted this. I don't think I can ever sprinkle stuff on my food again either. That is so gross!!!
Hope sis can give you a remedy for those toes. If not call me. I've broken my toes several times...

  17. I worked as a nanny in the US and the 3 year old took her gummiworm out of her dessert (pudding and cookiecrums) and put her whole hand in a full water glass, flooding our table. After her mommy told her, "sweety please don't do that", she ran to the table across from us, where the people had left but their glasses were still there and she took a sip out of every single straw there. Another great time, she through pieces of bread at the waiters and waitresses walking by our table.
Your little story reminded me of that ;)

  20. Staci, I'm so using Chez next time. Thanks for that.
Your poor toes -- hang in there. Now you have every excuse to stay home in your jammies and DO NOTHING. No kitchen detail for you! Doctor's orders!
I can't believe Josh. It almost looks like he had plastic surgery - I can barely see him in the new and improved version!!
Sometimes, parents of bad children drive me crazy. And then I have to ask to sit somewhere else in the restaurant. Except I'm afraid to do it so my hubby does it.
